Dr. Bjorn Kjerfve, Dean of College of Geosciences at Texas A&M University visited OUC on September 13th, 2006. Dr. Wu Dexing, President of OUC, met with the guest in the Reception Room of the Administration Building on Yushan Campus, and hoped to take this opportunity to discuss projects and ways of cooperation between the two universities. This was an important visit since the two universities signed the memorandum of understanding in April 2006. After the meeting, Dr. Bjorn Kjerfve and some heads of colleges (departments) of OUC further discussed the effective ways to cooperate in such research fields as marine environment, marine geology and environment engineering. Dr. Dong Shuanglin, Vice President of OUC, presided over the meeting.
